Since there is a very common opinion on the forum that it isn't necessarily Cadillac or GM that is the breakpoint but rather the dealership level experience. This then becomes a (fill in the blank) dealer has always been great to me discussion. With that in mind I thought it would be good to have one place where shoppers, newbies, and frustrated customers can go to find someone worthwhile to make their ownership experience better.

Let's try to keep this clean, positive, and for praising dealers that treat their customers right, rather than bitching about those that don't.

I'll start:

Selling Dealer: Ritchey Cadillac in Daytona Beach, FL, Salesman: Clarence Beal. They were hassle and haggle free through out the purchase experience. Kept me well informed at every step of the way. Handoff was flawless without any issues. There service department is equally great.

Servicing Dealer: Massey Cadillac of North Orlando in Orlando Florida. Service Writer: Rianne Clark. Selling dealer is an hour away. Massey is local to me. They have been fantastic and knowledgeable every time I have a question or issue. Rianne takes personal interest in keeping up on the EV issues. The dealership policy is that any time an EV comes in for anything, the first line of the work order is VWP. They provide a loaner or Hertz rental if your car needs to stay. They have purchased the vehicle and equipment and will soon do mobile service at your home or business.

Ok I’ll add
Purchased from Frank Kent Cadillac Ft Worth because they had a car that met my desires available, while my long time dealer had none. Had to “negotiate “ for quite awhile to get the price I wanted. Sale paperwork completed they were “the cars parked over there, enjoy” , I didn’t need a bow or anything but ….

Nearby dealer is Sewell Cadillac Grapevine. They advertise their service is best of the best. However the few times I’ve been in they resist VWP to the extreme. I’ve bought 4 new cars from them in the last 10 years and always planned to get services done there, but VWP issue is driving me to try @Zymurgy and @DFW-EV dealer an hour away (Crest) for 15000 mile check and to checkout my monitor issue I posted about earlier this week.

I’ll post mid month visit with Crest results afterwards.

Classic Cadillac in Mentor, OH. Deep EV expertise, partly because it is part of a multi-dealer/brand campus and the Cadillac shop services all GM EVs. Sharp people on the Service Desk. When the tech finishes, be sends a video going over everything he did. If a loaner is needed, it is always from inventory.

I'll second Ritchey Cadillac in Daytona Beach, FL. Years back I had my ICE Cadillac serviced by Ritchey Cadillac.

Morries Cadillac
located Minneapolis, MN gets my current recommendation.

3rd for Massey North. :) We bought our car there and have had it serviced there as well. AJ was our sales guy, and Rianne has taken care of us so far, the one time we went in for the normal check up, etc. They diagnosed a bunch of initial quality issues without a complaint, and at least one of them required the tech to disassemble the driver's side strut tower to find a squeak. They offered a few packages for sale at sales, and at the time I took them. But I had no issues with cancelling them and getting my unpaid money refunded as prepaid lease payments in my case.

They are in the process of remodeling, so it's not a showy dealership. But everyone there has been great.

Massey South I can't speak to, even though they are closer to me geographically.

I'll double-down on Swickard Cadillac of Thousand Oaks after yesterday's 15K service.

When I requested they apply software updates as I dropped it off, the service writer told me they've implemented a policy that every EV coming in for service gets hooked up, and any pending software applied. No request necessary, they just do it.
Yeah, I'm sticking with them.

I'd like to add my local dealer, Schepel Cadillac in Merrillville, IN to the good guy list. They've treated me like family since the day I walked in the door, many years ago. Their simple guaranty is they will do whatever it takes to make you happy. It's written on the wall along with their many awards for excellence. Their sister Buick dealer two doors down has even more awards. I take all my GM stuff to them. Anyone looking for an honest and competent dealer in the Northern IN/Chicago area might want to give them a try. You can thank me later.

Another great service experience at Massey Cadillac of North Orlando. Rianne is gone now but Tammy Parker, the assistant service manager, did a great job!
